Protective groups are used to shield reactive parts until everything is in place. Once the chain is complete, it’s cleaved from the resin, purified, and freeze-dried to produce a stable product.

3. Reseal the vial tightly after use.
4. Store unused peptide at −20°C or lower, with a desiccant to keep moisture out.
5. Once reconstituted, refrigeration is essential. For peptides unstable in solution, keep them in a freezer until needed.
